With the conclusion of the Olympic campaign, Tony Gustavsson’s tenure as head coach of the Matildas also comes to an end. His four-year contract with Football Australia has concluded by mutual agreement. Gustavsson has played a crucial role in leading the Matildas over the past four years, achieving significant milestones such as a fourth-place finish at both the Tokyo 2020 Olympics™ and the FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023™.
